An update from the one that was just released last Monday? I'd love another update to fix the BL issue, since the only people I'm interested in IMing happen to be the ones not showing up.

I download the new version. I have a BB7520 with nextel no bes, and no matter what settings I use I cannot get passed the logging in.

One setting I used the program closed as sson as I tried to connect

Weird, I deleted the program, and re-download and it works now.

I downloaded this the day it was re-released and it worked wonderfully! Now all of a sudden a couple days ago it started getting stuck at "logging in" just like it did before. I havent changed ANY settings on the BB or the ramble configuration. I tried rebooting the blackberry, uninstalling and reinstalling ramble, and toggleing between toc port 8080 and 5190 and NOTHING. Anyone having the same issue? 7520/OS 4.o/BWC

Rambler,
I still cant see all of my buddies who are logged on. It seems to only affect those who have Aliases I added in GAIM or Trillian. Other than that, everything works great. Please advise

OK ... So now at 9:56AM it is working. Seems to take some time for it to establish. My suggestion is to ignore it for awhile, and then "try again later"

Same issue here. I don't use any other third party AIM clients (trillian, gaim, etc) and I still do not get all my buddy's on my Ramble Client. I have tried deleting and recreating each buddy in my buddylist using the AIM desktop client, but this does not make any difference.

Is this a known issue or does it still seem like a configuration issue?

The incomplete BuddyList is a known issue and there is a pending release that is being tested now.

Talking possible solution to a small problem

I dont know if this has been posted already but if you re-enter your buddies name in your AIM buddy list from the PC , your buddies will appear in your phone. But you must enter it under mobile device.....
I did it and all the buddies I need now appear!!!
I hope this helps
By the way I am using the 7100t (tmobile)
peace

In the future version of Rambler will it allow you to view people on your buddylist's away messages or profiles? If it's possible, that would make Rambler even better. Rambler is already the best AIM Client around for the bb, hands down.

Not to toot my own horn, but I've got some pretty exciting stuff packed into this upcoming release. Hopefully I'll release it friday. It should have the Buddy List fix, as well as re-enabled buddy list modification.

In addition, there are some new goodies, some new graphics, and I'm playing with an Extension API that will let you install the basic Ramble app and then install other 'Extensions' to let you do things like Email IM Conversations, or maybe send SMS messages through email gateways, etc.

Anyway, watch for updates on Friday!

Rambler just one question before the release that could possibly save a lot of headaches, will the update install over the excisting or will we have to delete and then reinstall, I think that may have been what caused so many small problems with the last released since originally we reinstalled and it seemed to work better when the old was deleted to reinstall the new one. Again we thank you for all your efforts.

I can't wait for the update to the existing Ramble. I have a Nextel 7520. I have some of the issues mentioned above. When I log on, it takes me back to the main screen. I dont see all my buddies. In gereral it works fine. No complaints, just suggestions. Thank you!
