I see my issue is the same as Neissie's, but don't see the solution. Can someone help?
1) My home computer has Vista OS. I've reloaded Device Manager 5.0 but still do not have this complete pathway:
C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Share d\LoaderFiles\OS version\Java
I get as far as ResearchInMotion, then have the following folder choices: AppLoader, Auto Update, BBBI Drivers, BBWebSLLauncher, Modem Drivers, RIMDeviceManager, USB Drivers.
There are no sub folders under any of these last with Share d, LoaderFiles, etc. .
When I search for net_rim_bb_dameon, I get no file found.
Suggestions?
2) Have you got any other ideas on how to resolve my issue below?
My Storm is unlocked, and I've been using it for 2 months for calls and internet with T-Mobile. Unfortunately, I discovered last week that I am unable to access company conference calls with it. It connects to the 888 number, but doesn't recognize the numeric code (usually 7 digits) I input. A colleague at work with a Storm and Verizon service is able to connect. My daughter's Storm, unlocked with T-Mobile customer service like me, also can NOT connect to a conference call. My goal in following your procedure is to successfully connect to corporate conf calls.
I've logged this on Crackberry, with no luck.
Thank You. [I'm pretty frustrated with my husband who bought the Storm and had me unlock the phone. Success could improve our marriage
