Its due to all of the BB/ Phone sites, not just CB / BBF / TBG that we get a clearer picture of whats going on. Kevin has done no more wrong than any of the people posting and getting hold of pictures. Its free advertising for RIM, and most of whats in the review is just more detailed versions of what we get else where.
Surely its the people selling that might get the crush/letter and asked where they got it from?
I think its great to have such reviews.

Gotta love someone with a total post count of 50 "ordering" us all to "chill" and then claiming that (knowingly, based on that sticker) receiving stolen merchandise is "no more wrong" than posting pre-release photos.

If it was stolen, and RIM was actually pissed about it, don't you think the PIN and IMEI would be blocked or blacklisted as soon as the device disappeared? He said he has registered the PIN to his BIS, and is using it as his daily BlackBerry.
Also, i would also think, if he put his SIM and BIS attached to it, it "could" report that information back to RIM, and they could just PIN the BB, and send the "cease and desist" letter via PIN, to immediately warn him, right? Then the paper letter could follow.
I'm not sure either way, just playing the devils advocate..

EXACTLY cj, RIM don't give a crap about the device...
look at their stock since the kickstart was leaked...
look at the attention they are getting leading up too WES...
RIM is sitting back watching it all go down and laughing all the way to the bank for it..

No disrepect to what you are saying Dallas, but as i mentioned to JSanders, it was a language barrier and if it caused offence then i apologise. I guess the way it is taken will affect the terminology, and i wasnt looking to start a thread war.
Its not an order, and as for my post counts, is it only because i have "50" posts here that causes concern or perhaps we should look at the 1000's of post on other BB forums?
My point really was to say that if a leaked OS doesnt get RIMs attention, the odd "not official" handset will also be overlooked. I mean as far as we know there might still be outstanding issues?
Lastly, had it of been anyone else holding the ebay purchase 9000, i would have said the same.

Does this count since I have almost double his post count and I have been a memeber here for years?

Keyboard layout is a huge issue for me. Give me an 83xx or 87xx keyboard, and I am on board. Well maybe an improved browser, then I am sold.
... this does not stop my Crackberry addicted self from wanting to get the newest device available. Shoot they could give me a an old Morse Code machine, slap the BB logo on it and I am sold...

Dropping $900 on some pre-prelease product is a lot of money. However, the publicity CB received in the past two days are priceless.

I think were all getting a bit crazy lately.. With all the teasing of the leaked OS, and the ghostly 9000 showing up on flea bay, its making people antsy..
To be honest, If I'd had the 900 bucks to blow on the device, I WOULD HAVE!!
