I love my storm. It's pretty awesome... and to think that there are updates coming up to fix the current issues? It's gonna be even better.

Sure... the lag for the screen flip gets on my nerves... and the keyboard disappears in the middle of an important email, but you get over it. you know?

I have full trust in RIM.

So-so for me as well.

Just upgraded to the latest software now and it seems a bit more responsive.

RIM HAS TO DISABLE the annoying hold/mute/speakerphone screen clicks when on a call.

I seem to be more proficient with the Storm as time goes by.

A long way to go before it is better than my Bold, Curve, Pearl or even 7100!

Default Sluggish

I love it but it is a little Sluggish. I am sure they will come out with some type of firmware at some point to fix it.

This is the USER EXPERIENCE I wanted and NOW I have...funny that all my issues are resolved and verizon hasn't release this version...this could stop anyone from returning the storm!

Thank you ALL!

Can I re-vote? re-count? re-do? hanging chad excuse....

I LOVE IT!!!

Where can I get the Update?

Thanks

If you're asking about the .75 update, it's actually a sticky in this forum.

There's no question that I love my curve, but I enjoy the larger screen on the Storm and generally don't have too much trouble typing on it. Given that after rebate I'll only be paying $150 for it, I'm beginning to think that it's probably a good idea to hold onto it.
Keep it and you will find that it is awsome. Just give it a little more time.

I played around with one yesterday, and the screen was all wobbly. There were two, and they both had that issue, and the guy from the store said that they were all like that.

That's not a deal-breaker for me, and I think I'll get the Vodafone version this month. I was just wondering if it's true that all BB Storm's have the wobbly screen!??

I love it. Definitely takes some getting use to. I'm use to texting fast with my curve, but getting use to it. Can't wait until Verizon uses the full 3g technology.

I bought mine on release day and have never exchanged it. It runs great and I've had no problems with it at all. It is hands down the best smart phone/PDA I have ever owned.

Wish they would fix the reboot issue (this has ALWAYS been a strong point of BB's = Rock solid OS)

Wish they would give the option to turn landscape mode off (will be a serious deal breaker for me if they don't)

Other than that, it's pretty sweet!

I love it, I work for Sprint and I still went and got this phone with a Verizon contract, and I'm not even close to being the only one at work that loves this phone

Wirelessly posted (Krunkestberry Storm 9530)

Get the talklock app for locking the screen while on a call works wonders.

I don't understand the poster talking about the device being on full 3G. It runs on 3G rev-a which is really like 3.5G speed. To the poster saying edge us just as fast is crazy. Edge doesn't even compare to rev-a.

Get the phone get used to it and you will love it. I love mine but hated it at first. Once I got used to it like I did with my first berry I love it and type just as fast as I did on my curve and one handed typing is no problem for me at all.

I love my storm! The only problem i have with mine is all the dust under the screen! Im OCD about little things like that! I still have yet to take the screen protector off that ive had on since day 1 to see if dust is under that and not the actual screen.

My husband had the same issue, and the dust was under the protector. The screen is actually stunning without the protector, and typing is much better, too.
