You can delete the app, but then it requires a reboot, and the app is re-pushed on re-boot if it has been deleted. Kinda like a dog chasing his tail...

I have BES 4 and I have a few users that are having the TMO reboot issue and I want to create a policy to stop TMO from resending the service book.
I went to >>policy rules>> new rule>>
then i am lost.

On a different note: I was also wondering...when using the handheld configuration tool to push required applications to the device while at the same time having a policy that prohibits 3rd party application installation, are the pushed applications considered 3rd party applications? It seems like there's room for conflict here...

How about setup a MDS proxy, and not give it a gateway address, which forces users to communicate through the proxy, but will only allow the users to talk to 'internal' servers and not let them get outside your network. This won't prevent them from installing an IM app, but it will prevent them from using one...
