Default Can Invisible Shield be removed then re applied?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Just poped my Invisible Shield on my 8700g last night and I notice today that I didnt do one of the sides quite spot on (its sticking over the screen edge a tiny bit)
So I want to know can I remove it and re apply just this bit without messsing it up?

Also had many days/hours did it take for all your to properly dry and any bubbles disappear etc?

Tks

It's probably pretty risky for you to try to remove it and reapply it at this point.

Default invisible shield

being from just outside of salt lake city, utah (headquarters for shieldzone) i was able to go right into their factory and pick up a screen protector for my 7105. it fits perfectly and i have no complaints about it. i dropped my bb and some spots on the casing got pretty scratched up but the screen is still perfect. the screen clarity was affected a little bit for a couple days after i put it on but it got a lot better as it dried. i wouldn't think of having any screen unprotected without an is.

Larry, can you help find the answer to a question? I have not gotten a reply from Shield Zone yet. I want the full body set that fits the 7100t BUT I have a 7105t. Will this work?

It's a funny one this. I've had so many phones (and a lot of so called smart phones) and BlackBerry is the only thing that really cuts the mustard for me. The weird thing is that I don't treat it like a phone. It's my tool of productivity, my office umbilical cord, it's my equivilant of a construction workers shovel and therefore I treat it as such. My BlackBerry devices get hammered, battered and chucked around. By the time I change devices - which is pretty much every six months - they are battered to hell with worn out keypads, and I'd never think about bothering to keep them nice and scratch free. I'm sure if it was some touch screen, mega pixel camera rubbish I'd feel different about it. Strange huh, especially as it's the best mobile device I have ever owned!!!

I just got my answer. The full body skin for the 7105t will be released within the next week or so.

They are rugged devices. I've had Pocket PC/PPC Phone Edition devices, Sidekicks, regular phones and nothing even compares to the durability of a BlackBerry. I've dropped other devices on concrete, asphalt, run over them, etc and they all fail to work after. BlackBerry withstands all this and then lets me know if I have a message after LOL

Thumbs up

i bought my 8700g screen protector from shieldzone.com

i am here to report a BIG . as the title of this thread says "Don't BB without an invisible shield".

i left the stock protector that the bb came with on up until my invisible shield arrived.

the invisible shield i received was damaged in the mail and looked like a sharp edge or corner had left an impression on the shield. so when i placed it on the screen (very easy by the way) there was a small line just above the tmobile logo. i emailed them and they offered to send me a brand new one and they waived the re-stocking fee as well. all i need to do is send the damaged one back.

excellent customer service for and excellent product. the screen is just as clear and fits perfectly. i will buy their protectors for all my future purchases (ipods etc...)

oh yeah btw. when i removed the first damaged screen protector you could really tell how well it had adhered to the screen. even though it adhered so well, it came off without any trouble and no markings what so ever. i was a bit concerned about that but it was a breeze. so anyone with doubts, do not fear.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

IS is my favorite electronics accessory ever. I have one for my old 7100 (6 months and the IS is still perfect), and my dig camera, and I just ordered for my new 8700.

Takes a little time to apply correctly - WELL worth the effort. Awesome product.

Hmm, if I order ONE full-body shield for my 8700c from them for $24.95 they'll ship it free. BSE wants $2 shipping to ship me ONE identical full-body shield for $6.99, or a total of $8.99 BUT if I'll buy THREE for a total of $20.97, then they'll also ship them to me FREE. Oh yeah, give me that ONE for $24.95 with free shipping! (NOT) lol

Question

has anyone noticed with the invisible shield full body for the 8700g that there are little spaces that just didnt get covered? ive got a couple of spots, like between the two pieces for one of the sides, that doesnt have any protection at all...is that a product defect or is everyone experiencing something like this?

does anyone that has the Invisible Shield use the included holster for the 7130e and does having the shield on give more resistance for putting in and taking out from the holster or is it smoother (any differences)?
Also, does the shield only cover the screen or the entire front of the blackberry?
thanks in advance.

That seems to be right to me also. I also have spaces in some of the places on my 8700g.

Does the one from shieldzone.com cover the whole unit or just the screen?

The description seems to indicate the latter. If so, is there a site anyone can refer me to that sells a clear protective skin for the whole 7290? BSE doesn't seem to have it. I haven't found one on ebay etc...Thanks.

Yes, it's on my 8700c right now.

It works exactly as advertised.

Thanks for the information. Another question, do you know if the full body shield for the 8700c works well with the Blackberry plastic swivel holster?
