ive deleted uber twitter and i am still having battery issues I am begining to wonder if its notthe OS update. I installed both about the same time

well its been gone a few days now and I still can not get through half a day without battery completely dieing. I think I might roll back i have also noticed more call drops

you have to shut it down, not just click cancel or whatever the button is to go back to the main screen.

i had the same battery issue last week and as soon as i shut it down, my battery usage went back to normal. now i know what the Apple guys meant when they said running apps in the background kills the battery. I still like Ubertwitter. i take the train to work and like how it caches messages for me to read on the ride.

Then why have it if I cant have it running constanly? Thats the point of twitter to be in constant contact not just when I want to read it. My point is that I have had many apps running in the back ground and never had battery issues like I did with uber twitter. I am running social scope and havent shut it down since I installed it. I get great battery life with it. So it had to be on ubers end.

Not yet. They said 'within 2 weeks' almost a week ago... so we're somewhere near a week to go yet...

The latest i've heard from the developers is Beta-2 should be released late this week...

Their responses seem to be a bit sporadic... hopefully it's because they're working on the code...

I also heard by the end of the week from one of their tweets.
