Get bblight to keep it on.

Hmmm. I have bblight, but it doesn't seem to work. Set it for out of holster but it still shuts off.

Ok, it's working now. Don't know what happened. Maybe it wasn't running in background for some reason. Anyway, pretty cool little app. Had it installed, never used it until now!

I have a 7130 from Verizon and can't get this to work. And yes, I did sign the petition! My question is would another carrier's software make it possible for the internal GPS to function fully?

No..It will not work. Verizon must make adjustments on their end.

That's what I thought (although I hoped differently!) I signed your petition and have been peppering their cust. serv. voicing my displeasure. I'm harboring little hope of change but...

Default Download not working...

I've tried both links and get errors on both when trying to download OTA. Any one else getting this. Any sugestions.

Okay, I finally got the non-blackberry link to work but it's telling me I downloaded v1.0.70?????????????

Okay never mind again. I saw the 4.1 and assumed that was the Maps version and now realize that it's OS version. Got it, sorry for the confusion.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to launch Blackberry Maps from an external 3rd party application?

Have not seen that since it so new, but there clearly in address book integration. For example on any given address I can see in the menus, Drive To, Map It and View Home( or Work) Map.

Has anyone got the internal GPS working with bell mobility? I can't seem to get that to work.

However, I love this app, as it saves alot more data and loads a lot quicker than google maps.

All i want now is the gps :S

I had this problem with some of my contacts and discovered bbMaps needs to have the Country field filled in.

If you sync with Outlook, open up a contact, and click on the business/home button, which opens up a check address menu. Then choose United States of America, save, and you should be good to go.

I also just tried adding "US" in the country field on the handheld and that works as well.
