1st, great handle. I’m an old bike weenie myself.
I agree on the slippy-ness. I had one episode with my 8100 where I took it out of my pocket and proceeded to toss it on the ground because it slipped from my hand. Since getting the 8900, I have been extra careful to not pull the same move.
Today, I received and installed the Zagg Invisible Shield. While it’s a minor PITA to install and takes time, it adds greatly to the grip factor.
Time will tell on how it holds up. A silicon case is always a cheap solution and adds tons of grip.
