Default Loose back cover anyone?

I'm sick to death of the back cover coming off when I take it out of the holster. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to fix the problem?

No problems. Cover isn't even the slightest bit loose.

What's the history on your device?

Ok. Obvious question, but has to be asked: When you replace the cover, are you doing it right? It is flush, no gaps?

Go back to the place you bought it, and see what they'll do for you. I guess you could try buying another cover if you have to. Short of that, you could try putting a business card under the cover.

there are build defects with the 9700... the back cover being one of them... it will come loose after a while and you will need to replace the cover slider and it costs around $17...

there is also a known keyboard issue whereas keys can come loose, I have only had to change my 9700 keyboard once.

Other people report that the trackpad has been leaning left or completely wobbly on some handsets.

I just got my 9700 and the back feels as if it's loose and might come off. I just always try to press it firmly to make sure it's on. It's fully flushed so idk. *shrugs*

If it were me and I found something like that when I got the new blackberry and had just taken it out of the box, I'd return it. That's me.

It happened to me too and was a major inconvenience but I bought Incipio Feather for BB bold 9700 ($15.00) on eBay and that solved the problem. Snaps to the back of the phone. Solves the sliding issue ;)

Mine did the same thing after about 3 months of use. I took a small round felt pad that is adhesive backed (like pads found on cabinet doors to quiet their closing) and stuck it to the battery. The felt pad pushes on the back cover and has ALMOST stopped the cover from coming off. It still does every now and then.
