Im out of contract and I called AT&T and told them I would leave if I didnt get it for free and they agreed =)

Im coming from a battered 2 year relationship with a Treo. I hope this new relationship will bring me utter happiness.

I was on an old $20 unlimited data plan. The Rep said I HAD to get on a BB Data plan ($40) or else the net may not function... is that true? Or just a way to pin the new higher plan on me

not sure about att but i think the data service is different btween treo and blackberries..

Using BIS uo only needed a 29.99 plan, but using the BES (corporate email) you need the 44.99 plan.

Without a Blackberry data plan a Blackberry will be little more than a phone and PDA. If you are going top do BIS you can get a unlimited data plan for $29 with a voice plan with 450 minutes or over

hrm, mine was the personal max and its 39/mo with 1500 sms... are you going off of a plan with no sms?

Ugh, we do not do SMS. We do PIN messages and email only. 90% of in-company stuff is via PIN.
