The program was easy to install, light on my device memory and battery.

It gives you the option to place text that you commonly use and to choose a title of your choice.

When you are in the process of typing an email, there is a built in option in your menu to access the program and choose a template of your choice which you developed.

It is also easy to edit your text based template to customize for other users.

I use autotext fairly often. I may reconsider due to the program. In factn as a professor, one may find my textbook list in this product.

I don't seem to be able to scroll down my saved template whilst viewing. Other than that it seems to function as designed.

@akosnitzky: you earlier asked if the app maybe connecting to a server. Is this the case?

As far as the server comment, I may have misspoken. It may be appropriate for the original poster to respond.

One suggestion: I do not see a way to at least sort or have your templates titles by alpha. It seems that the items appear in the order developed.

Download these two files to your device SD card:

http://cyberlandllc.com/ezMail/ezMail.jad
http://cyberlandllc.com/ezMail/ezMail.cod

Use 'Explore' from the Media app menu, click on the JAD file and it installs fine (and works great with a bunch of other email plugins I have). Mac and Linux users, see my sticky here for a script to do it for you for many apps:

Just an update, very nice app. Nice to be able to save multiple email signatures as templates. I have a few diferent businesses and it's nice to change my email signature on the fly like this. Thanks for the app!

I have updated:
http://cyberlandllc.com/ezMail/screenshots.html

As for the question about connection to server, application saves template data
to PersistentStore on device (ala C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.3.0\samples\com\rim\samples\device\contacts example).

downloaded it, nice little application.

One thing that seems weird (not sure if it is a bug): If you compose a new message and choose a template, then hit the escape button it does not ask you to Save/Discard/Cancel, nor does it save your draft. It automatically just discards the data.

Anyone else experiencing this? Doesn't really impact the application, just a little annoying.
