Default Find address from first few letters functionality seems to have vanished?

Please Login to Remove!

I used to press a few letters of someones name and my BB would find that contact..

Its seems to have stopped doing that now..?

Any ideas what is wrong..?

Thanks in advance..

Did you recently upgrade the OS on your BlackBerry? That functionality disappeared...

OK I tested it. Everything before the letter P is "un-searchable"

From P onwards it behaves as it used to.

I think iSkoot messed something up...

Grrrrrr...

I will tweak it

OK did that!

I went into aplications - iSkoot and disabled the ability to access some things.. ????

And the missing functionality RETURNED..

Now iSkoot is behaving oddly..

Anyhow I am on the trail of fixing it

With what version did that disappear, or was it just on the 8300 OS upgrade? I'm on 4.5.0.97 on my 8330 and the lookup with just a few letters works fine.
