Default My wifi wont work

Please Login to Remove!

hello everyone =)

im all new to this, so not sure if im doing this right, lol. but i recently got a BB curve 5820, to start with the wifi did work, until my router went wrong, now it says it cant obtain my ip address, i looked in options then status and there isnt no ip address there, just 00.00.00. could anyone help me get this working, it would really help me, thank you =)

What BB do you have? There is no 5820. I assume it is 8520? Please update your profile and edit the post with the correct model.

Have you tried a battery pull on the BB?

What happened to the router?

What did you do just before the WiFi stopped working?

Are you sure WiFi on the BB is set to "on"?

Morning,

Another thing you should check is does your home wireless router have DHCP enabled ( on a desktop computer, if network is set to automaticly receive IP adressess given by your router or manually entered.

Now it's a bit tricky to get that stuff on paper so you should write something about your OS, router and so on so you can have some help regarding that issue ( if that is the case fcors )
