Default Error 507 on 2nd phone, not first

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so I did manual phone wipe on my own 8330. I ripped all OS installed, ripped DM from my Winx x64 Box. Then I deleted all mentions of research in motion, rebooted, installed 5.0.1 B73and 8330AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel724_PL3.5.0.44_A5.0.0.438. I ran BBSWAK 1.7 to do a wipe, then I loaded the OS with that. Everything went smooth. I had a few problems with old themes but I eventually got it working.

Now.. my GF has an 8330 as well, hers is red.. mine is black. I did the exact same procedure as above.. except now when I try to load os. I get Error 507.
I've tried using DM exe, the launcer.exe the shrink-a-os launcer and the bbsak launcher. they are all providing me with Error 507 on the screen and I can NOT load the operating system at all.

I've tried using a front usb 1.0 connection.. and a rear usb2.0 connection... same results. PLEASE HELP. I have no idea what else could be wrong? I've tried several battery pulls, ive tried it with the sim card in, and sim card out.

Try loading using apploader.

Also, use the SEARCH feature and look for "JVM 507 error". Lots of posts and threads on it.

Why do people wipe the OS from their BlackBerry when there is no problem? A simple "upgrade" is sufficient and does the same thing without the headaches.

First of all excure my typo. I've now used JL_commander, NNSAL, DM Gui, DM command line /no jvm and still same error. i've tried use 2.0, 1.0 hubs. DM 5.0.x and 4.7. using the above O/S mentioned. I've tried onvalid PW 10 times. The Device info is about the same except the wprling 8330 jas a 0x4 HWID and bad one is 0x6. Vendor id is samge, radio is same. Vm version varies a tad from working a9 to bad 1b6. all the metrix match up

I've spen about 3 hours searching forums tonight, looking for an answer.

If that device is under warranty, that's the route I'd go. You've exhausted all the resources I know of.

I thought you were working on your GF's device, not yours. And I agree with John. Wondering if the device itself is bad.

Translated, the 507 error is a missing or corrupted .cod file. If you knew which one you could just reload it, but the error code doesn't do much to help.

I was working on mine, everything went smooth. then I went to upgrade the OS on hers and ran into all of these problems. I can NOT get os 5.0 on her phone. So i will look at replacing it at the store then. thanks for your input

One thought, did you delete the vendor.xml file before doing the upgrade on her 8330?
