Default Max amount of users you can create in one go?

Please Login to Remove!

So today I created about 200 users on BES 5 which was the whole directory.
Exchange crashed because of excessive logging which I must admit I have never seen before; I guess it was logging the changes to mailboxes, so creation of hidden folders?
I just wanted to find out whether anyone else have seen that?
I have created/ imported about 160 users in one go to BES express only recently without problems so i thought it would have been ok.

Is there a guidance to how many users to create in one go?

Cheers.

depends on the exchange server MAX IOPS and its current load wich is different with all exchange versions that BES will use up as you add in users.

2003 = 3.64 users load on exchange
2007 about half of 2003
2010 about half of 2007

there is no real way to say 100 or 300 will work in every environment with out knowing the above info and proper testing of it.

OK...well then I tested it and it didn't work in this environment I guess is the conclusion...hehe....

...as long as there are not specific guidelines that says 150 users max at one time or something then I would feel really foolish if I had overlooked that.

Thanks knottyrope.....I'll blame Exchange rather than my myself
