Default Calendar sync problems after loading Facebook

Please Login to Remove!

Please can someone help.
I was maintaining and syncing my calendar with outlook without any problem.
Then I loaded faceboof and somehow this created a new calendar on my BB and made all the entries green.
The default service calendar changed to facebook - it used to have my email address as the default.
New calendar entries made on my phone still reflected in Blue as before but all old and future dated entries that were loaded before facebook were now in the "other new" default calendar
When I tried to sync with outlook the process says it wants to now delete almost all my outlook calendar entries on my computer and only update the newest ones since loading facebook
The result would be that I would have a whole bunch of calendar items on my BB that are not matched by entries on Outlook.
I have deleted Facebook and switched the default service calendar back to the old one (with my email address as the name) but the calendar entries on the BB that were "changed by Facebook" still reflect in green and wont sync properly with my Outlook.
This happened once before and I had to format the phone after updating Outlook manually for the latest new calendar entries.
I then did a one way sync from outlook to my BB to get all the entries back onto the BB.
Then the normal 2 way sync worked fine.
But what a hassle and why does Facebook hijack my BB?
Thanks

Try to go to the calender, then go to options, where it shows the desktop and facebook as calenders with the colors next to them, then type the word MOVE. It should ask you if you want to copy all of the entries to the desktop calender. If you say yes, it will move them all and they should show up in outlook. Also, when you reinstall facebook, go to options and make sure to untick the box that says "Blackberry Calendar application"

Thanks for your help
I found another way to restore the calendar which was not too much of a problem
Also reinstalled Facebook and unchecked the blackberry calendar - this seems to have worked.
