I know it says 4.6 but I have heard from a VERY high reputable source that it has worked on 4.7, I don't know what they did but it worked.

I had to manually delete 1.2, and at first didn't realize that it was working. 1.5 doesn't look all that different, though there is some noticeable new functionality. The big one for me is facebook messages in my message list the same way instant messaging programs put messages there…

Did you uninstall the old version first to get it to work on an 8900?

I got it to work on my 8900. I am loving the phone book option, it really makes life so much easier! Plus I love how it updates the phone contacts picture with a profile picture change. I can't wait to see what 2.0 has to offer!

Works on my 8900 as well. I did uninstall the old version before installing this one. The UI is pretty much exactly the same. I haven't had time to mess around with the new behind the scenes synch stuff like calendar, phonebook, etc.

I've been on facebook for almost a year now and I'm really enjoying meeting new and old friends here. Hope that this could work on my BB. Thanks for the links guys!

used it for almost a month on my 4.6.1xx running well, remove your 1.2 first see if that might cause you a problem

Is there way to batch synch the contacts with facebook? It will take forever to link each one individually.

It does it at some point. Last night my FB app wouldn't sync all my contacts, but I woke up this morning, opened the app, and it asked to sync all the contacts I did not sync manually last night.

Awesome. Hopefully mine will do it automatically. I just went through and connected about 20 contacts for now.

Tried everything doesn't work on 4.7. It loads but then fatal errors from that point on no matter what I tweak. Back to 1.3.
Pretty cool on the Bold though, can't wait.....
I'm assuming once the request a phone number issue is fixed, it won't be long.

There is also a bug if you try to create a new contact in your bb address book using a facebook contact. It pulls the name and company but doesn't populate phone numbers, email addresses, etc. Also doesn't let you modify the category for the contact which can be a pain if you use filters.
Overall pretty sweet upgrade though.
