The title of the thread says it is compatible with 8350i.. so wouldn't the cradle be tad loose with the 8900?

Did I read somewhere you can plug in either the old miniUSB or the new microUSB cords to the back of this thing?

Hello,
The introductory price for the cradle is set at $24.95. Afterwhich it will likely be bumped back up to MSRP.

Not at all, we have been doing lots of test fitting for both devices and its Innocases and both works quite well. No loose fitment has been reported whatsoever.

Correct, because 8900 uses Micro and 8350i uses Mini USB, we have incorporated both to ensure 100% compatability with your OEM chargers and cables. We do recommend you use the device specific USB standards, meaning if you have 8900 we recommend using only the Micro USB port, and Mini USB for the 8350i.

Hopefully this had helped, place your order today as the promotional price won't last long!

Do you guys plan on making a spring clip holster just for the 8900? I had the one for the older curve but it's just not made for it.

Was it not possible to notify us about the 10% coupon when the announcement of the cradle was made? Is it possible to cancel and re-order the cradle with the discount?

Does this require cutouts in the back of the BB OEM skin to expose the contacts next to the battery cover latch? If not does the cradle charge through the skin?

Also you mention compatibility with the 8350i, do you have planned compatibility with the 8310?

Thanks!

As I understand it, the OEM stand needs to make contact with the battery terminals that are exposed by the battery cover latch, and so won't work with any sort of skin/case on the phone. I may be mistaken about that, which would of course be a pleasant surprise.

Hello,
Let me see if I can clear a few things here for you all:
1. Yes, the cradle will require the charging contacts to be exposed. But it is designed to be used with our Innocases, Blackberry OEM Skins, and some other cases with the contacts exposed, although we cannot guarantee fitments for third parties.
2. This cradle is designed for 8900 and 8350i. We actually already have a cradle for the 8310, which can be found here: Link.

Hope this information has helped!

I bought a skin from eBay that I was pretty sure was OEM, but it doesn't have any cutouts for the battery contacts. I've also got 3-4 others but none have cutouts. Can somebody post a picture of a skin that has the contacts exposed? I suppose I can just cut mine to make it work because I'd really like to get the charging cradle for my 8900 and my wife's 8310.

Received my cradle. Today! Its the bomb. Its exactly what it says it is. I use it with my 8900 and the Innocase. The only difference than the one in the pic is. It has the name Seidio branded on the front in the center next to the led.
