Nice Jason! I ordered a new LCD and a black bezel almost two weeks ago and I still have not received it. Hopefully tomorrow I will get it. And just yesterday I decided I wanted the black buttons as well so I am going to have to wait a while for that too. So right now I am very jealous of everyone that has a fully functional, completely black, Bold.

Just a question, is the light depending on the trackball or is it attached to the phone ?

In other words, if it's attached to the phone there would be a light unused which would consume power for nothing each time you touch the keyboard ?

Finally received my black trackball from cnn.cn and installed this evening. Is it me or does the trackball operation feel a little smoother than the original?

I just installed the black trackball I bought from cnn.cn It seems like there's a space around the trackballs holder (silver one) and the hole for it on the BB. Is that normal? The original trackball had a white holder for the trackball and it doesn't have any open spaces around it but the silver one does.

I went with the G1 trackball. It has a black ring, instead of the silver.

What do you mean? It's the exact same trackball, except it has a black ring.
