People who want to convince people that abortion is murder are not doing their cause any favors by behaving like this. Sad, sad.

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

It is just wrong! To kill him

I do not agree with late term abortions unless medically necessary.

Late term abortions are only OK if absolutely necessary. But killing the doctor for what HE chose to do is wrong.

If i were to play devil's advocate here, maybe he chose performing late term abortions because there are few women who may have absolute dire reasons for it? medical of course. So why kill him over it?

Agreed. Removing these doctors will not stop motivated women from getting abortions, it will just stop them from doing it under the eye of a physician.

Agreed x2...

The women who want it will still find a way. Now instead of a qualified psysician doing the procedure, they will seek out a Dr. Kevorkian type in training from the basement of some run down house....

I don't agree with abortions but don't agree on murder either. Sucks it happened either way.

In india, you have to take the court's permission. It is illegal over here to have late term abortions. If you have the option in the USA, and it's LEGAL, people should be thankful. I'm not saying it doesn't come under scrutiny, but, like i've stated earlier for medical reasons, it is OK. I don't condone abortions unless the situation is an emergency, say for the sake of the health of the mother or even the baby. It's just bad that now, people who need to have late term abortions, will have to find non-qualified doctors for the procedures. And in this case, the consequences and repacautions could be much more severe.

You really have to love the irony/logic... People who "care" so much about human life and preserving it go around killing people themselves. Who do they think they are deciding who gets to live and who doesn't (granted everyone person can have that choice but they are suppose to have so called "principles").... That's more or less what it is to them.

They really are something.

+1. agreed. there isn't any logic to their way of thinking.

here, we have a doctor, who MAY be helping to save a life, getting killed for doing something that was looked down on by a vast majority of the population.

i reiterate on the fact that i don't condone late term abortions, but people should be grateful that the option is open to them. what if the baby has severe complcations before it's born? what if the chances of its survival are slim to none? do you want to give birth and then see the child die right in front of you?

Here is a classic case of the late term abortion drama we face in india:
http://www.mid-day.com/news/2008/aug...a-abortion.htm

no one has the right to take the life of a doctor, even if he does something that comes under the scanner time and time again, if by the end of the day, he was helping to save a life.
