Anyone noticed that with both .163 and .174 the connections go off all the time without reason? I have many dropped calls too

I understand these downloads may be generic and work with any carrier but is there an easy way to find out if a specific carrier, like AT&T in my case, has suggested an upgrade for my device?

Default 507 error and unable to connect bb to pc

hi,
my attempt to update my 8310 software and remove an IT policy has made the bb undetected by my pc and i cant seem to proceed with anything now. i tried installing the os update without deleting the vendor file. it failed to update 2 times and gave me the 507 error. i tried it a third time and it gave me the 507 error again but also now when i connect it to my computer is it not detected at all by the computer or bb manager. please help!
