Hi all,

i know this is old ground as i have searched on here but there are no real answers?!?

in the event viewer every 15-20mins

Blackberry router error ID 10000

[SERVICE_RELAY_SESSION:S18405794:00b93ff8] Service transaction not found. SERVICESESSION_TAG=187xxxx

At present i cannot activate any blackberries all existing ones are ok but any new ones don't seem to work. I have rebooted both exchange and BES and still activation either gets stuck at a certain percentage or activates but they do not recieve any emails??? this is happening with three different devices

If this is BES for Exchange, do you have any virus software scanning the Exchange store? The 15-20 minutes might be a re-scan trigger and if there is something locking the store it might cause you problems.

I've also seen a lot of activation problems with virus/spam scanners intercepting the ETP.DAT message so that it never actually reaches the user's mailbox so the BES never manages to verify the encryption or send service books.

interesting theory we have spam scanners, an antivirus monitoring the store SMTP...but how does that explain if some do activate but never recieve any further email after activation completes?
