Question Shortcuts to Homescreen

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all!
I am trying to make a shortcut from my email messages folder to my homescreen. The problem is that I sometimes recieve 200-300 phone calls per day and several emails (work orders) also. Trying to scroll through the phone calls to find the emails to reply to is a pain, and also dropping into the folders is also a hassle. Any help?
Thanks!

For me, I just do not show anything in the message folder but emails. If I need to review the call log, I just use the shortcuts (Alt+I for incoming). With all of the calls and emails, it is just too cluttered for my taste.

I cant seem to find where the logging option is or how to have only the emails show up in the "messages" Do you both have the 7520?

shortcut to homescreen from anywhere: alt+escape, which works like alt+tab.

To get to logging option:

Home screen -> phone -> click and scroll down to "options" -> call logging -> pick the logging you want: missed calls, all calls, all calls no DC, none.

Since I keep my phone on silent a lot, I log all calls including DC.

No not the message icon..... if you go to message then to "view folder" then "web client" then "inbox" I want to make a shortcut to "inbox" on my homescreen. I do not want to change logging because I use my incoming log a lot to recall people that are not and never will be in my addy book. But I need to seperate my emails from my incoming calls so if I can place a shortcut of that folder on my homepage then the issue would be solved.

My shortcut (alt+I) to incoming does not work along with several others, and yes I have tried to turn off dial from homescreen.

Go to the phone icon and click into "general options" and change your call logging to "none"

You could set up a filter to view your msg with. That would filter out all of the phone calls and give you all of the messages that have the same qualities. For instance if you wanted to see all of the messages with the same subject which it sounds like you may that would work for you. You can also set up a shortcut for that filter for easy use.
