How do I type a number in multi-tap mode, e.g. in a password field. Pressing the alt key and the key with the number does not do the trick.

i think you just keep pressing the key until it changes to the number

I tried that without success. At least I can not get it to work in the typing tutorial.

on my 8120 Alt + key works for numbers. did yours work before? maybe try a battery pull.

I could not get it to work in the SureType tutorial, but does when entering text in an email message, etc. May be a problem with the tutorial.
