I just paired a Motorola H700 headset with my Blackberry 8130 Pearl and it works well. However, I can't get the MP3 player to play music through it. Is there a setting I need to change or do I need a new Bluetooth unit all together? Thanks.

What you can do with a headset or earpiece depends on the Bluetooth profiles that are on the item. Typically the low to middle level earpieces will only be capable of handling phone call interactions (incoming, outbound, mute, etc.)

Check with the manufacturer of your item to verify the profiles. Also, when you pair your phone with the earpiece you will see a dialog on the phone listing the available service of the paired connection.

I use a Jawbone (the original, not the Jawbone II) with my AT&T 8310. It works great! All types of noise are cancelled out very well, with the exception of wind noise (The Jawbone II is reported to be better at that.) The speaker sounded tinny at first, but once I turned the volume up, the sound is great, and I don't have to jam it in my ear like some other BT units. I find it to be extremely comfortable. I hardly notice the fact that the Jawbone is touching my cheek, and I can wear my Jawbone and sunglasses at the same time with no problem.

The bt8010 does not work with the 8100 pearls. It does to an extent but it skips drastically when listening to music

I hope someone sees this and can help, I have looked on the forum and seen no mention of the Sony PS3 bluetooth headset that comes with the SOCOM game mentioned anywhere, I would imagine it works as well but when I try to sync it up I get asked for a code with my Curve and I have no idea what code it is asking for to be able to sync the headset up.

If I try to bypass the code entry the sync fails and it won't pick up the headset for use. Any suggestions?

I tried 0000 and it works like a champ, so you can add the "Official" Sony Bluetooth headset that comes with SOCOM for the PS3. The have a SOCOM that comes with a Jabra headset, I am using the new one that just came out, you can buy the headset alone for $50 or you can buy the game and headset together for $60
