So I just got an Imac and when trying to sync my contacts on it or back them up I lost all my contacts for some reason. I synced them then did a back up that order but now cant find my contacts. Does anyone have a solution ?

You'll need to restore from your backup. Before doing that, check in Contacts > lower left Contact icon > and make sure you have your BB set to display "All".
