Hi everyone,
Today, I went in a Vodafone store to ask about the engagements for the new bold 9700. As I'm french, I often go back to Paris so I ask the guy if, when I go back sometimes, I would be able to use BBM free over there and he told me that this will cost me money. But on the other side, friends told me today that I shouldnt pay extras as BBM should be free abroad.

If someone can help me here by telling me if Yes or No, Can I use the Blackberry messenger free when Im abroad? (Europe)

You may use the BBM free in the sense that you're not paying anything EXTRA except for normal roaming data fees, but you will still incur data costs since you're roaming, just like you would if you browsed the web while you were in Paris.
