So, I got a 32gb microsd card, and I put around 5 GBs of my music onto it, and my blackberry told me that my card needed to be repaired. I then tried to put the files on a small batch at a time, putting the card into my Blackberry after every small batch of files, and it solved that problem, but then around 3/4s of the files were rejected as being of an improper format. I looked and saw that those were mostly files that didn't have tag info, so I converted all of my files to the same format of MP3 and tagged all of them, then mass transferred them onto the card. Now, about half of them MP3s are rejected as being of an improper format. I did it twice, and the files which were invalid were different both times. Anyone know what the deal is?

FWIW, I didn't use the BB media manager at any point, I just used a microsd card reader.

Why are you using a card reader? Why not just plug in the BlackBerry with the USB cable and transfer them that way?

It could also be a bad card. Where did you get the card?

Admittedly I got the card from ebay, and for cheap, but all the files made it on there fine.

Its not uncommon to get a bad card (or an immitation card.)

If you purchased the SD Card on Ebay then there's a good chance of it being a bad card. If so, Contact the user you purchased it from and see what they say. I recommend purchasing an SD Card from a trusted source such as BestBuy, Wal-Mart or even Amazon.
