I need to ask if there is any builtin functionality for BlackBerry so i can make SIP calls without any software. I just don't want to have to launch an app every time i want to make a call. I'm looking for a way to store the sip settings, and the phone shall retrieve and use them whenever i want to call. Older Enterprise Nokias had such functionalitty, and i hope BB does too. For example.
There is Mobile VOIP and possibly many others. But i dont need something for specific providers. I need to set my own providers so i can call the PBX i have set up.

RIM offered the feature to hopefully save some enterprise users. Businesses that are capable of utilizing the feature to route calls via their own phone system can save costs especially on tolls use. Doubtful it would be usable for others.
I am not on BES, but i dont understand what MVS is and what they're implementing on BES subscribers. The documentation i posted above seems deep and i don't understand what it refers to. Is it something like what Nokia e72 was doing? Cause I'm really interested on such a feature. I don't want to have to launch an app and make my calls from there every time...
