It appears that there is a network problem from our hosted server to MSN, it's been consistently unable to connect to MSN. Every once in a while we'll get some successfully able to connect to it, but most of the sign on attempts have failed due to network issues.
Other than that the other networks appear to be working properly.
Anyway out there on TMobile BIS getting "open tunnel max timeouts"? I've been getting these for the last hour or so, not only on JiveTalk but also on a bunch of APN 3rd party apps.
damn marley, i still have my timeport (the big 2way machine) unless your speaking of the cell timeport and its still on. I miss just having a good ol 2way. Any who gtalk has been going nuts, acutally everything is going nuts. Is it back on track yet.
Have had very limited problems with Jive (I had more with IM+).
I was wondering if it would be possible, in the future, to be able to access more than one IM client. IE: I have two Yahoo accounts (one for work and one for personal) and it would be nice to be able to access both from one application...like in Trillian
you can actually do that today in JT. Just add the second Yahoo account as you would any other account.
If you have the same yahoo contact in both accounts, we currently display them both, and you're not able to easily tell the difference from the buddy list. When chatting with the person, if you set your chat preferences to "show my handle in chats", you'll be able to see the account you're chatting from.
For those who PM'ed me in the past 2 days about the beta. Yes, the beta is still open.
We'll releasing a BB specific build shortly that includes integration of alerts profiles (for all those who want sound or LED or ringtones). In order to do this, we had to get our application signed by RIM, which changes our OTA download slightly.
