Default Visual Voice mail call volume

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a settings panel for Visual Voice Mail. I haven't been able to find one. On speakerphone it works really well. That's normally how I listen but in a private meeting you obviously can't do that.

When switching to the handset the volume is super low. I turn it up all the way and still can't really hear it. The headset on a normal call is fine but won't turn up nearly loud enough on VVM. Any thoughts. Am I missing something?

Glad to hear it's not just me. Searched the forums and couldn't find any mention of it.

I have noticed the same. Usually in a meeting situation I just call into voicemail.

same... and i've noticed that the volume on speaker phone won't go in between "silent" and "too loud". It seems like the other BBs had more adjustability with the speaker volume.

This is kind of unbelievable. You gotta think they noticed this at the factory. In a restaurant or even in a room with 3 people talking it's impossible to hear. And I love the feature of Visual Voice Mail!

That being said this thing is so fri**in cool. Last night I sat with a set of head phones listening to about 40 albums on shuffle while swiping through pictures that looked incredible on the phone and gmail chatting. This thing does it all!

Now we just need it to do it reliably

Have you thought about trying a free visual voice mail. I download Fusion Voicemail Plus on the Storm. It works great.

You have to put it on speaker phone to really hear it loud and clear. We all have the same issues until a fix appear for it.

I did notice the phone app has an "enhanced audio" which contains an "automatic volume control" setting under options. I can't say I notice any difference with it on or off however.

Yeah "enhanced audio" doesn't fix anything for me. Don't want to down load an app for something I'm paying $2.99 for. I can handle speakerphone for a while. Let's hope their on it.

VVM will get better soon. I would not use the suggested alternatives. Read the terms of service for those "free" programs before you consent to them. No thanks I will keep my information as private as possible.

Or at least until the carriers provide it like Verizon does for the Storm. Anyone know if AT&T, Sprint or T-MO provide this for our BBs?
