Default Restricting phone ID

Please Login to Remove!

I make A LOT of work calls during the day. I want my number to appear to anyone that has me in their address book but I want to restricted anyone that doesn't. Is there any way or download that allows this? It doesn't seem possible but I thought I'd try.

Is there a way I set up a shortcut that will allow me to "alt key" / push a button to restrict my number, then use the contact list to make the call?

I know that I can restrict my phone number by phone log / options / restrict my identity.

Also there is some code (*##) that i can punch in before i dial a number... how do you use this code with the contact list?

The code is *67. You can also store the code at the start of any number in your contacts.

You might also experiment with storing *67 as a speed dial and see if you can continue dialing after hitting that key.

Here's a useful reference: Telephone Star * Vertical Codes

Did you try this: Phone > Options > General Options > Restrict My Identity? Set to Always.

GeoGiant, would you update your profile? It's still showing you have an 8130. Thanks.

But then he/she would need to add *82 to every stored contact.

Someone else already posted that. Are you reading the thread before you post?
