Default 8330 and TomTom 930, dialing problem

Please Login to Remove!

Have my 8330 paired to a TomTom 930 GPS as my handsfree device. TomTom pulled in the phonebook listing from the 8330 and everything works well except the "dial recent caller" feature in the TomTom.

All recent callers are stored in a list (like the call log in the BB) and can be easily accessed with two taps on the TomTom touchscreen, and without having to scroll or search through the phonebook. However, every number in the recent caller list has a 1 added in front of the 10 digit phone number. Entries in the phonebook do not have the additional 1.

If I call from the phonebook, works perfectly. If someone calls in and I try to call back using the recent caller list, the 1 is there and the call does not go through so I have to find them in the phonebook in order to call back. Too many button pushes and too distracting while driving!

Not sure if this is a Smartdial issue. Have tried different setting without success.

Any suggestions? Help appreciated
