Unhappy Seidio Innotraveler Kit... or lack of

Please Login to Remove!

Had a chat with one of the representatives on the Seidio website the other day asking about if there was going to be an Innotraveler Car Kit being developed for the Storm 2 and the answer i received was a resounding no...

Dunno about you guys but personally i'm a little miffed by this - as many of you will no doubt relate, the Storm's screen real estate is ideal for whatver Sat Nav app you have... However the current selection of in car holders aren't exactly what you would call elegant or even sturdy looking (just check the universal items on eBay)

Now having a look at the Innovtraveler Kit for the Motorola Droid, that's one sturdy piece of kit that won't fall apart in a hurry (which is ideal if you drive along roads that look to have seen lost battles against mortars) which would be well suited for BlackBerry Storm 2 users...

My main gripe here is... How come Seidio see no business advantage to produce said item for the BlackBerry Storm 2 (and/or Storm 1 for that matter as the position of the Micro USB port isn't all that different iirc) yet they will wilingly make an Innotraveler normal, audio and deluxe Car Kit for the following models: -

Palm Treo 680
Palm Treo 700p
Palm Treo 700w
Palm Treo 700wx
Palm Treo 750
Palm Treo 755p
HTC Mogul PPC 6800

I can safely assume that there are more BlackBerry Storm 1 and/or 2 devices out there in current circulation/ownership than all of the above models combined yet there is no solution for us? What do you guys think?

Unless of course you can point me in the direction of an in car holder that can accomodate a Seidio Innocase for my Storm 2 that doesn't resemble a universal bendy arm windscreen suction thing that will struggle to support the phone's weight before letting go of the device completely due to its development budget of $5.27

I don't know of one off hand, but I have been disappointed by the selection of Storm2 items from Seidio.
I would like to see the innocase that covers the extended battery. Not developed yet.
Their web site says we can subscribe for updates, but I haven't gotten any yet.
