Default BES Space query

Please Login to Remove!

I recently got my Bold and I have requested them to activate BES, Was just querying how much space it would consume on my phone. Take into account that my mailbox is about a gig big on my machine. If this is going to kill my storage then I'd rather buy a bigger card before the service is enabled so I can avoid pulling down the mailbox twice.

It'll barely take up any additional space when you activate on BES.
The most messages you'll get as part of the activation would be 750 messages, or 14 days worth... whichever is reached first. Space consumed by that would be negligible.

Additionally, a bigger card wouldn't do anything for you anyway, since messages can only be stored in device memory, not on the SD card.

Oh ok thanks. What is up with RIM being obsessed with having things on the device then not having at least 512mb of memory.
