Default Request for 7130 Forum

Please Login to Remove!

We have Forums for all models except the 7130 Series

I would welcome a 7130 Series Forum.

This request based on the fact that there are enough differences to justify it's own category. Especially as it is indeed so much different than the 7100 series. This would make it so much easier for people new to the BlackBerry platform, and it would resolve confusion.

The 7100 series has the slower processor and only 32MB of memory.

The 7130 series has the faster 312 Mhz Intel XScale processor, 64MB memory and EDGE.

Cheers.......

It is still part of the 7100 series though. That being said I don't believe it will get it's own forum. However if the admin reads this he would make the final decisions. However I don't expect it to change.

Yes, there is the common form factor and other similarities. So let me ask again.

Please create a Forum for the 7130 series......

I would be in favor of a 7130 sub forum as it is unique from the the 7100 models and the point has been made about other models having their own sub forums.

We don't have forums for the 8707, the 8730, etc. There's a common logic behind not doing so - we aren't going to grow to be 10,000 forums within a year. They share enough common ground w/ the 7100 not to split it off by itself. Keep in mind that it's been this way for about a year now, since the first 7130 device was released this about 13 months ago by Verizon.

Sorry, but there will never be a 7130 series forum.

Each series of forum (7100, 8700, 8100) are there because each is a different form factor.

Thanks for the explanation. I have learned how the site is structured & it makes a lot of sence.

Cheers ...
