Default GPS not showing under Options-Advanced-GPS

Please Login to Remove!

I can't get the GPS numbers to show up under options-advanced-GPS. GPS is turned on, Google Maps and TeleNav get the GPS signal without problems. Everything is "on" or "Enabled" in the options screen.

I'm using a 5.0 OS--latest one, 509, from the Beta You than Me. I don't know if it worked on my old 4.6.0.304 or not.

How do you get the numbers to show up? Or don't you?

You need a GPS program that will display the 'numbers'. I'm assuming that you mean the lat/longs being displayed. You can start with any one of several geo-caching programs or something similar. A good start would be the one at Map your tracks and photos, share your position from your mobile | free Mobile GPS Tracking Service.

Great. Thanks very much. I'll try it.

To display your longitude and lattitude go to options/advanced options/GPS press the menu key and select "Refresh GPS".Your BB will then search for available sattelites and display your location and the number of sattelites it can see.

Depending on your location you may need to take your phone outside so that it can get a good GPS signal.

Thanks! I hadn't though of looking in the menu for it, which would have made sense. Of course, it worked, even at the window.
