Got my new bold yesterday and have loaded the software on to the laptop (vista home) and plugged the blackberry in which the comp recognises and is shown in device manager but desktop manager does not find it and says it's not connected. I've uninstalled and tried various things but it's not having it. I've tried on my desktop which is running vista and this seems to work ok.

Has anyone any ideas because at the moment it's useless without any contacts etc on it

I've also had issues with DM (I'm assuming its 4.7?)

I'd try the 4.6 version of DM.

You need to clean up the registry. Do a little bit of search around the forum; I posted the link to the kb but cannot do it from my bb.
