Default suggest an "android" app to try please

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I've updated my daughter's playbook to v2. The thing I want to see on it is store better apps. She doesn't use the email, contacts etc anyway.

Can someone suggest one of the android apps that now run on playbook from the BB app world please.

When this was announced I was hoping popular apps would be available straight away like skype etc
Cheers

Can you maybe list some of the apps your daughter would be interested in. Skype isn't gonna happen.

It's more for me to just see the android apps work! Will Skype never be on playbook then? Is this one of the apps that you can sideload on to make work? Is it worth doing this?

It's just she is the only one with a playbook, whereas Skype works on Apple, android and other shop is universal. Why won't it come to playbook? Because it's now owned by Microsoft?

There are .bar files for Skype Beta, that can be installed using the sideload method. I even got the app to open, just didn't work. I don't think I know of anyone who has gotten it to work.

I believe ReelPortal (Video Chat app on App World) has multi platform support.

You can browse this link to see if any of the apps catch your eye.

The Skype beta doesn't have video. Text. Kind of not really useful.

Anyone know if the OneNote app has been ported over and if so where I can get it from. I do have OneNote installed on my Xoom Tablet if anyone knows how to get the APK file from it.

Thanks in advance.

Why not use Evernote. It doesn't care what flavour of hardware or OS you have.

Used evernote, apart from text you have to pay for it, I am attaching files and graphics to notes and it also intergrates well with Outlook/Visio/Word which is important for me.

Some android stuff. Hearts Delux, Boom chain, fuel distance calculator, game of life (not really a game).
