Hello, I am looking into getting the Bold, this will be my first BB, so I hope this is in the right place.
I see that it has a voice recorder, and I was wondering a few things.
How do you rate it? Is it something most of you use on a regular basis? Is it more for something short term, quick reminder kind of voice recorder? Is it possibile to use it for lectures? Or is there an app for BBs that would make it possible for lectures/meetings?

I did try a search, but I haven't found anything in relation to my questions.
I have used it, for short notes and reminders, and even to record my daughter singing.
For a lecture, it is probably not going to be the best, especially for something lengthy.
I find the voice recorder to have very good quality and sensitivity. It even works well in the holster if you are trying to be discrete.;) I believe you are only limited by the size of the memory card for recording time so it should be possible to record lectures but I have only done 5 minutes or so at a time at meetings.

I was thinking the memory card could make it possible. anyone think an 8GB card would hold ~12 hours?
