Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I haven't encountered this problem! If I recall there has been a thread regarding this very issue not sure if the problem was ever solved though, I think it was in the 8100 sub forum

I can't even get OM work for me. The first time I tried installing it, it deleted my MMS permissions (unbeknownst to me). I called TMo and they had told me that they were mysteriously deleted and re-installed those permissions.

Give TMo a call and ask them to look into it.

From what I understand about your issue, you need to have a BB dataplan for MMS.

I had MMS issues awhile back, but found a workaround so all is good on that. Wondering if Opera Mini was the cause. Hmmmmm.....

When you call TMo, don't mention OM, just say that you're having problems with sending/receiving MMS messages. Then they won't refer you to the OM people.

I do miss my OM tho.

the problem is that blackberries are only allowed a limited amount of TCP/APN connections. MMS uses this and opera is set to use it as well.

The fix is to go into opera settings and change protocol from socket to http. Then just for a safety, do a battery pull or turn the phone off then on to reset connections.

You will then notice it takes a bit longer "connecting" before a page loads, but there will be no more conflict.

What are the differences in data usage if OM is set to http? It may resolve one conflict to allow receiving MMS, which is good, but what are the ramifications of using http instead of sockets? Anyone know for sure?
