I have been a BB fan for years, my wife has an IPAD, but I can't wait to show off my new Playbook, which will interact with my BB, and seem to have tons of functionality compared to IPAD ! On top, it wont be controlling the apps like Puritan Steve Jobs is doing with his device...

What am I looking forward to, besides Playbook? For one thing, I'm looking forward to a CDMA version of the Torch for Sprint! Since the Torch figured so huge in RIM's most recent earnings announcement it seems like a natural for them to make a version that will be sold by Verizon (and Sprint). I've been going back and forth between my BB Bold 9650 and an HTC Evo. The large touchscreen on the Evo keeps luring me back, but everything else about the BlackBerry really works for me. Combine the two and you have a winner. Torch proved this in the last quarter's earnings.

Hopefully the first playbook is better than the ipad 2. It looks like its scheduled to be out not long after the playbook.

I'm looking forward to BlackBerry World 2011 May 2-5, 2011. I hope to see some of my favorite BBF posters/mods there again. I also hope I get to be a guest speaker again. Then getting married at the end of May followed by a week long honeymoon in Vegas!

On the technology side, upgrades to existing devices to OS6 for smoother & enhanced functionality would be a great plus. I'm also looking forward to the Playbook and finding creative ways to implement it in the workplace. (Full Flash will make my users app happy!)

I'm looking forward to receiving another certification from BlackBerry & Microsoft.

But most of all, I'm looking forward to seeing my 10 year old son grow another year physically, mentally and with positive character traits.
