I have Windows 2003 SBS and on same mashine BES 5.0
only 4 GB RAM
all is working fine
but unread/read reconcile didn´t work.
what can I do?

Hello,

first I have to lower my ram usage, I have only 32Bit System.
Looking in besmgt Log I have often arround 80-90% RAM Usage.
Looking in taskman I see this:

160 MB sqlservr.exe (I think only BES use SQL on this mashine)
143 MB w3wp.exe
114 MB bmds.exe
95 MB bas-ncc.eex
533 MB bas-as.exe

Do you know of any good articles about lowering the bes ram usage?

what you have for usage is normal, maybe you need to add a dedicated server for BES

How many users are on the system ?

the SBS 2003 tends to give too much memory to the exchange store.exe. Performance will not suffer in most environments if you try to limit the store.exe memory usage.
