Is it possible to configure your BES server that it uses your prooxy server when a blackberry wants to internet. Can't find anything where to configure your proxy server.

Yes it is possible. I would search for "proxy" in the administration guides for intructions.

if you just want MDS traffic to go through a proxy it is in the Mobile Data Service properties.... I beleive the tab is called...Proxy?

So if the MDS has the following:

HTTP Proxy enable set to true
Proxy Auto Config set to false
Host Name set to use our corporate proxy server
Port 8080
Auto Proxy set false
MDS Authentication Enable set to false.

This will allow all http requests to go out our corporate proxy server?

Yep. That should do the trick. I just found out today about the "Proxy Mappings" setting. That will allow you to bypass the proxy for internal sites. It helped us load internal pages much faster.

Hi all, I did the http proxy setup and it works very fine. However, it didn't work for https. Anyone has an idea? Please help.
