Hi All,
I've had a Curve 8530 for about 2 months now. (I got it off eBay...) And it worked fantastic until about 3 weeks ago... It would turn on, work perfectly fine for about 5 minutes, then restart. I'd use it, and it would restart. No matter what happens, it restarts itself. I've upgraded the os, downgraded it, and I've done everything I can find on the interwebs. It is required to have a BB for my work, so I need to get this working ASAP!

Did it get wet (or damp) or was it dropped?

Did you add any Apps? If not it is possible the battery is defective.
check to see if it has a red water indicator in the battery compartment.

Wetness indicator still white, and it still restarts with a replacement battery.

Not dropped, and all this started after I installed an app to change the color of the LED upon arrival of a text, but I deleted the app and did what I think is a master/factory reset 10 or so times...

I had a rebooting problem on my 9700 a few weeks ago, I too had just downloaded an app.
It drove me round the bend, finally I removed the micro SD card, that I had installed just prior (a day or so) I had replaced a 2 meg with an 8 meg.

After removing the 8 meg the 9700 rebooted, I replaced the 2 meg and it's been fine since.
