Thumbs down Blackberry 9500 Worst Handset ever

I bought Blackberry 9500, just before 1 year.
from that day to now i have faced many problems related to handsets,
first & big problem is it's touch screen problem, after resolving that problem,
again it is came back... now this time i will through that device in hell.

second problem is it's slow rated processor that is not suitable for that handheld anymore,
there we cant install many applications and cant expand memory more that 2GB.
when i expanded it to 2 GB it got stuck many times a day. as company said it is expandable to 16GB...but i dont think it will work anymore.

but now i learnt one thing that dont go with costly handsets. china made devices can do more than that....

I used an original Storm for a couple weeks back when it was first released. It was beginning to make me HATE BlackBerrys. It was not the blackberry experience I was used to, and certainly not the one I was expecting.

1; Painful to type on. The need to click down on the screen for each letter was stupid, and there were many more "features" of this screen that made me scratch my head.
2; Laggy OS. Oh. My. God. How was this anything but a beta release? Felt more like an Alpha actually. And updates did little to relieve it.
2;Freezes were common, especially when changing from landscape to portrait orientation. Not only did this cause a ton of lag, but it also froze the device completely sometimes. And that gets old real fast.

The Storm 2 never eliminated these issues. They were lessened, but the device remained issue-prone and substandard for RIM in my opinion. A lot of this is probably the fault of the hardware. Slow processor, not enough memory, etc. The Storm 3, aka "Volt", has a chance to finally get it all right but I remain a skeptic. I see why RIM is dropping the "Storm" name as it's become synonymous with "Lemon".

Yes the Storm series is the worst line of Blackberry smartphones ever released.
The Torch is #2.
All the hype, just to be royally disappointed.

I had both a Storm I & II. The first gen was disappointing, but I liked the second gen device, mainly because of the size of the keyboard in landscape. I don't have huge fingers and got along well on a Curve, but once I got used to the large screen I had a hard time typing on a small, physical keyboard. Just moved to a HTC Thunderbolt (have to update profile), but will consider coming back if RIM releases something that combines the features of RIM practicality with the Android speed & UI. Keeping my fingers crossed...
