Default US Cellular data coverage in Springfield, MO

Please Login to Remove!

The last time I was in Springfield, MO I didn't have data coverage, but it looks like data coverage in MO changed quite a bit. I could get coverage is I went certain directions out of town, but not in town.

U.S. Cellular

Can anyone confirm that there is now data coverage in town?

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

RIM may be updated the BIS servers to move to 2.6. Pa

I work for USCC and I took a look at our engineering maps. They show we have some native coverage in Springfield proper at this time. Even in areas of town where we don't have coverage, you should be able to use data roaming on either Verizon or Alltel. Enjoy!

Cool, the last time I was there I had nothing in the city itself.
