Default How do I listen to local AM/FM radio on Storm?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a website or app that I can download onto my Storm which would allow me to listen to local AM/FM radio stations?

I've tried adding the websites of local radio stations into the Storm but I cannot get the audio streaming.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Get BB app world. I use radio companion and pleased with it. I get several local radio stations and I'm not in a large radio market.

I loaded the app and it does work. It's the playing the local station I want but it's playing the audio from about 30 minutes ago.

Is is possible to get radio stations not in the list and get them live? I would like to use this app to listen to live sporting events.

Please let me know. Thanks.

I don't know about doing that with radio companion. I'd check BB Apps to see if there is another one there. There may be a better one that you can buy. Also Radio companion has a premuim service. That may be live as well I wanted a free app and I am willing to live w/ the delay for free.

i once suggested making a mini fm tuner that can hook up via micro usb to the phone.....but i don't have resources to make one.

the phone doesn't have built-in fm, so the next best thing is an app. but any app you choose will not give you what you want (live radio).....

if u've got an ipod u could get an adapter or if not the Zune HD has built-in HD radio.

There are a number of options - look in the aftermarket software forum...

angelot, please change your profile here to reflect your Storm?

Also, moodio.fm, flycast.fm and others... all have been talked about in the Aftermarket Software section.
