Looks like this thread may be dead, but I'll give it a shot anyway..
I am also having trouble getting my BB to render tables correctly using the BB browser. I looked through a lot of documentation, and according to what RIM has written, any BB with v4.0 software should support basic table tags including 'table, caption, th, td, tr'.
If you look at the pdf that tfly linked, on page 11 you will see "browser content support". The two to note are the xhtml-mp and chtml. I read through the white pages for both (linked below) and found out that table support was removed from cHTML, but that the xhtml-mp that the BB supports actually has support for those basic HTML tags I listed above. Anyway, it still doesn't work though. The browser still renders things without acknowledging the <tr> tag for new table row. Has anybody gotten any further with this?
